The long-awaited dark mode feature of the WhatsApp is finally ready to be released and reportedly already tested by some of its users.
The Facebook-owned Messaging App has been advertising the black theme for months and is yet to reveal a release date.
WaBetaInfo website, which tracks changes in the beta version, has announced that the dark theme update is ready for the Android WhatsApp upgrade.
In addition, the dark iOS theme is almost ready for release.
WhatsApp is also testing a new beta update for iOS users that would improve features such as hide silent status updates, splash screens and app badges.
Whenever you open the app on your iPhones, WhatsApp’s latest splash screen will primarily allow users to see the WhatsApp logo. This can also be found on the Android beta app.
WhatsApp added a new anonymity last week that allows users to determine whether or not to join a group on the chat network.
In order to make it possible to access the program “Settings,” tap Password, Privacy and Groups and pick one of three options: “All,” “My Contacts” or “My Contacts Including.”
